I remember watching this film, very late at night, and sobbing and sobbing for absolutely ages. It is absolutly beautiful, quirky, funny – and completely heartbreaking.
It also has Bjork! Hurrah!
You should definitely watch it. Although I strongly recommend having LOTS of tissues with you!

the railway children – “it’s my daddy!” – still has me in floods of tears every time it’s repeated on ITV! xx
