slumdog millionaire

This film is the best I’ve seen in a long, long, time and I’ve been dying to tell you all about it.

It’s basically about a young man from the slums of India who manages somehow to get really really far in the Indian version of Who wants to be a millionaire, and how he managed to answer the questions.

That sounds kind of so-so, doesn’t it?  But honestly, it’s nothing like I expected.  It’s raw, gritty, shocking – and at the same time wonderful and uplifting.  I’m not going to give away too much: just GO and see it, ok?

I agree completely. It’s a film that changes you and makes you realise how lucky you are. I LOVED it! x

YES, please go see this, everyone.
It completely knocked my socks off, and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a film at the cinema that has had quite that effect on me. (Although this is possibly due to the fact that most of my friend prefer silly comedies and chick-flicks, so these are all I usually see at the cinema….)

Just had to add to your comment Rach; as part of the chick-flick brigade, I assure even fellow rom-com addicts will love it! Promise! Wow…we should get marketing revenue for the aamount we have promoted this film hehe!
